It's been quite a year for Peter Lotto me and Christine K'76. Their fifth grandchild was born last year in Nebraska, and more good news soon followed – the young family decided to move back east. “We traded a 3-day drive for a 3-hour drive. We now have all of our family within a 4 hour drive for the first time ever!”  Click to enlarge the photos.

In other news, Christine retired from preschool teaching and clearly inspired Peter to slow down, too. He cut his teaching load to just a couple of traditional classes and his online work.  (On the other hand, he admits that he added Norwich University to his teaching portfolio, “thanks to Lars Nielsen '77 who got me connected.”)

“In a ‘getting old is not for the weak’ moment,” Peter had a full knee replacement. “I probably waited about three years too long, but I ended up with a computer guided, robot assisted, Bones McCoy version.”  Putting his bionic knee to good use, he often sees Bob Halligan and Dave Brody, and he returns to Clinton for Alumni Council meetings.
